Here is my strategy of how I am going to tackle this paper. After the peer review session I have a few goals regarding what I plan to do with this paper. First off I need more material in my paper. I barely touched up on Southan’s writing in my paper. I want to have more of a rebuttal statement from him so that the paper will flow better. As of right now my work is very he said she said with my opinions here and there. Idealistically I want to start with an introduction, and then talk about why art is important backing up my opinions with the Ted talk about the painters. Then I am going to use Southan’s writing as the other opinion to show a different side to the story. Then I intend to wrap the whole thing up with a sort of compromise between the two. Because I agree with sides of both but Southan has some pretty intense views, however I agree with him 100% that people do need to help each other directly more. To achieve this goal of my awesome paper I am going to utilize my peer reviews that I received. My group gave me some excellent feedback on formatting my essay because I had a few ideas that I couldn’t really figure out where to place. I think that my biggest challenge is going to be the length of the paper. I am usually pretty concise with my thoughts. I like to keep my writing short and sweet, so having a standard length for this paper is going to be a struggle. To help me get past this challenge I have some excellent resources at my disposal. The seagull book is very helpful with information on how to format an essay. I also am surrounded by peers that would without a doubt help me in a pinch.
